Deep Tissue & Remedial Massage

Specific muscle group treatment. Much like Deep Tissue & Remedial massage, this specialized treatment is tailored for athletes and active individuals, focusing on preparation, event recovery and injury prevention. Whether it's preparing before a competition, enhancing performance potential between events, aiding post-event recovery, sports flushing or supporting rehabilitation, Sports Massage is designed to keep you at your best. It also serves as an ideal treatment for maintaining peak condition and addressing sports-related musculoskeletal issues, promoting faster recovery and improved performance.

Pregnancy is an extraordinary journey, filled with rapid changes that affect the body, mind and hormones/ emotions. Our Pregnancy Massage is a nurturing, specialized treatment designed to support Mum-to-be through this transformative time. With gentle, yet effective techniques tailored to each stage of pregnancy, we aim to ease physical discomfort, improve circulation and provide a deep sense of relaxation.
Using supportive bolstering, proper draping and side-lying positions to ensure your safety and comfort, our skilled therapist apply soothing strokes to release tension, alleviate muscle fatigue and reduce fluid retention. With Pregnancy Massage, it isn't just about pampering but a more holistic approach that nurtures both mother and baby, promoting overall wellness and a sense of peace.

Pregnancy Massage

For new mothers and babies, care and attention can be provided by the gentle application of light touch massage, helping to strengthen the mother baby bond. During the first half of the session, our therapist will guide you through the process, highlighting the many benefits this approach can offer, including relaxation, improved sleep and enhanced emotional connection. The second half of the session focuses on Mum, with a rejuvenating 30-minute massage while your support person, holds and cares for your child. This session is designed to nurture both parent and child, creating a balanced experience of learning, care and relaxation.
Post-natal concerns are well documented and it is our hope that this treatment provides comfort, in a way that Mother and child feel at peace and free of the heightened stress that comes with child birth.

Booking by appointment only. Sessions are held at Axis BJJ Rolleston (Selwyn Combat Sports Centre) Gym at Unit 36/128 Hoskyns Road, Rolleston 7675 and Home-based clinic - address to be provided upon booking.
